The relentless pursuit of more has made our species a shallow, thankless, godless, nearly hopeless Pavlovian animal. We work endless hours to ignore the existence of those we love as we bury our minds in a never-ending pursuit of likes and vapid superficial commentary from virtual avatars of people.
We look at our neighbors with envy and spite. We think those who have more didn't earn it, don't deserve it, and by all rights, it belongs to me. I must have more! Those who have less aren't worth even considering and are very easily ignored.
We take selfies to show we consume more than others while our grandmother sits in a retirement home alone as strangers keep her alive just long enough to run through her life savings.
We live-tweet season premieres as our brothers and sisters kill themselves slowly with the same addictions we pretend we don't have. We allow the state to raise our children and then wonder why they grow up to hate us.
We have decided a pair of designer shoes will make us happy.
That a divorce is natural. A child is too expensive. Is it any wonder we also turn to drugs, alcohol, and any other form of addiction?
Reality itself has been inverted. Did you notice?
Ugly is beautiful? Fake is real? Lust is love? Fat is healthy? Ignorance is educated? Family is foreign? Killing ourselves is living? Pride is passion? Vanity is a virtue? Virtues are vanity?
Who did this to us? Was it us? Are we living in some sort of fever dream?
Feeling alone? The rejection of lies and the acceptance of truth, in a world that values only deception and materialism, has no other purpose. Feeling alone isn’t a bug, it is the defining feature. Don’t worry, they will have a mrna jab for that soon.
We are to reject all of the lessons of the past, the traditions of our cultures, the sacrifices of our ancestors, and indeed common sense.
We are to accept everything they tell us. As they tell us. Then reject that and accept the new that. Whatever that happens to be.
Do not notice how everything is getting worse by the hour.
Truth, family, religion, and community. These are not dirty words, these ideas are the foundation of our existence. Perhaps those who wish to permanently alter our existence know that already.
The good news is, we don’t need them. None of this must continue for you, simply open your mouth and the absurdity will float away as it has never had any weight. The mass acceptance is as artificial as the veil they have adorned on our faces. We simply have to take it off.

Revolution occurs when fear is conquered and security abandoned. If you would like a better world, you have to be willing to sacrifice the world you have. You have to know any world is better than the one you currently reside in.
The world is what we will make it.
